Re: HGSI & %B*BW
It's a zip file, so you need to unzip it first to see the word document contained within.
To unzip, use a program such as WinZip or 7-Zip, or on Windows 7 I think you can just double-click the file to see the contents.

He has kindly given me permission to include the document here in the knowledge base. Thanks Mike! Here's the zipped word document - download and ...

Re: Moving Average Crossover
You can use the built-in scan called 'MAU' (moving average crossing up) as a starting point for this. MAU uses two simple moving averages but it is easy to copy that script and modify the second moving average to be an exponential moving average like so: Event:Cross(MA(C, FastPeriod),EMA(C,SlowPerio...

Re: ETF Trading Bandit Signals with Intraday update
Hi Ted, The process is: Update list data using currently available EOD data by pressing ‘Update List Data’. If you do that before 7pm PST you will find that you won’t get many symbols updated because the Yahoo EOD server isn’t fully updated until then. So, for instance right now (5pm PST) I get only...

Re: Intraday update causes symbols to disappear
Hi Kim, You are not doing anything wrong - here's what is happening: The 'Update List Data' button updates the symbol data to the latest available end-of-day data and shows signals based on that data. When you do the intraday update you are 'applying' the 15 min delayed data on top of yesterday's en...

Re: Compare Price to 5 weeks ago
You can do it both ways with slightly different meanings: 1. REF(C, 25) Means reference the close price of 25 trading days ago (approx 5 weeks) 2. FML('REF(C, 5)#WEEK1') Means reference the weekly close price of 5 weeks ago. Here's a chart with both of these indicators applied so that you can see wh...

Re: adding ETF/symbols
Hi Stephen,
After you create the new list you need to hit the 'Update List Data' button in order to get data for the symbols in the list. After that they should show up in the Symbols column.
Chris.
